“We are looking forward to worshiping with all of the members of the North Bend family and are excited to get to share the message of Jesus through our southern gospel music ministry with them,” commented Leslie Lake, accompanist for the group.
The Danville North Bend Church of the Brethren is located at 24474 Orange Hill, Danville, Ohio. For more information on both the Danville and Butler (Clear Fork) Church of the Brethren telephone: 740.599.7457.
The group was formed in 2004 and consists of Jim King, bass, Rick Horst, baritone, David Sollenberger & Bob Lake, lead tenor, and Bob Hutson, high tenor with Pastor Leslie Lake serving as accompanist.
“Because we do almost exclusively Gaither music, our style is Southern Gospel although we are presently branching out into a little of Ernie Hass’s music because it is so similar in style and close harmonies,” commented Leslie Lake. “The secret to our success is our ability to have such rich, close harmonies.”
